Performed in October 2003 at the DUMBO Arts Festival as part of its Water Art section: an experiment in sophisticated not-drowning.
Four floating platforms, designed by Fluxer Brian Matthews, were set out on the East River along with a floating tea table, everyone dressed for a Victorian tea party. From the shore, the audience ordered cups of tea using semaphore flags; the performers then had to reach the table with ropes and small paddles to make them.
