Todd Lanier Lester is an artist who over two decades has launched a series of three rights-focused, participatory works situated between visual media and performance methodology.
This project consists of migrating a dozen WordPress websites into a modern consolidated digital space using Hugo as a static site generator and Tina CMS for content management, while deploying builds to Cloudflare Workers through a Github CI/CD pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customized Hugo theme design using Go, HTML, CSS, and a smidge of classic Javascript.
- Migration of WordPress Websites: Develop tools and scripts to automate the migration process from WordPress to Hugo. This includes importing post, page, category, tag, custom fields, media files, and other relevant data.
- Content Management with Tina CMS: Integrate Tina CMS into the website, allowing users to manage content through a user-friendly interface. Ensure proper integration of Tina CMS with the existing site structure.
- Static Site Generation: Use Hugo to generate static HTML from the migrated content, ensuring that the website is optimized for performance and SEO.
- Deployment to Cloudflare Workers: Set up a CI/CD pipeline to automate the deployment process. This involves building the static site using Hugo and deploying it to Cloudflare Workers, ensuring that the site is accessible through https://tllester.info.
